United lost 1-0 at Tottenham in a toothless performance on Sunday, their eighth defeat in 12 Premier League matches. The squad have decided to act and will enjoy a meal out in Manchester on Wednesday in order to boost spirits ahead of a pivotal run of games, report .

United have been dogged by stories of disharmony for some time, with Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho all leaving the club under a cloud in recent years. None have been involved in a side performing as poorly as this one, however, with 10 wins from the final 13 league matches of this season required simply to avoid it being their worst ever Premier League campaign.
