According to AS, Vinicius Jr wants to be paid €20 million (£16.5m) a year – a 33 per cent rise from the salary he and Mbappe are currently on (€15m/£12.4m). The report adds talks over a new deal will resume in the summer.

Vinicius Jr has been the subject of interest from the Saudi Pro League, who are said to be willing to offer him €1 billion (£832.2m). But the 24-year-old has insisted he wants to stay at Madrid and if they satisfy his salary demands, the Brazilian is likely to sign a new deal.
